Katie Ehrlich joins Hedgepeth Heredia
Katie Ehrlich has joined family law firm of Hedgepeth Heredia as an Associate. She joins the Atlanta-based firm continuing her focus on family law.
“We’re delighted to have Katie join our team, bringing her skills and relationships to the service of our clients,” said Hannibal Heredia, managing partner at Hedgepeth Heredia.
Ehrlich graduated with honors from the Georgia State University College of Law, where she earned the Georgia Chapter of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Custle-Tuggle Award for Excellence in Family Law. She also earned the CALI Award in Family Law.
While in law school, Ehrlich externed with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation (AVLF) Safe Families Office, where she advocated for survivors of domestic violence seeking Temporary Protective Orders. Later she worked for the AVLF’s Family Law Division along-side the staff attorney.
At Georgia State University, she served as the Secretary of the Family Law Society and in her final year she qualified as a Pupil in the Charles Weltner Inn of Court.
She also clerked for a judge in the family law division of the Superior Court of Fulton County and interned with another well-known family law firm where she performed legal research and was exposed to complex domestic issues.
Ehrlich received her Bachelor of Arts in History cum laude from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, where she participated in an international study abroad and language immersion program.
Outside of the office, Ehrlich is active in the Atlanta Bar Association’s Family Law Section. She enjoys seeing live music, running, and cooking at home with her two kitties, Millie and Murphy.
