Hedgepeth Heredia Family Law Attorneys Recognized as “Super Lawyers” and “Rising Stars” in Atlanta Magazine’s March Issue
ATLANTA, February 19, 2019 – Four attorneys with the family law firm of Hedgepeth Heredia LLC were recently recognized by their legal peers for excellence in the March 2019 “Super Lawyers” edition of Atlanta magazine. Founding partners Jon Hedgepeth and Hannibal Heredia were recognized as Super Lawyers and in the “Top 100” attorneys lists. Jessica Reece Fagan and Paul Simon were named as “Rising Stars.”
Atlanta Magazine’s Super Lawyers & Top 100 Attorneys
- Founding partners Jon Hedgepeth and Hannibal Heredia were included in the magazine’s “Super Lawyers” 2019 list. “Super Lawyers” designates the top five percent of attorneys in each state.
- Hedgepeth and Heredia were included in the “Top 100” list, an elite group of 100 lawyers (less than a half percent) chosen from Georgia’s 32,000 plus attorneys. This is Jon Hedgepeth’s first year and Hannibal Heredia’s third year on the list.
Atlanta Magazine’s Rising Stars
- Partner Jessica Reece Fagan and Senior Associate Paul Simon were named to the “Rising Stars” list. “Rising Stars” recognizes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. The listing appears in the March issue of Atlanta magazine.
Georgia Trend Magazine’s 16th Annual “Legal Elite”
Hannibal Heredia was also been included in Georgia Trend’s 16th Annual “Legal Elite” listing (December 2018). The Georgia Trend Legal Elite listing allows attorneys to recognize their peers for excellence and is open to lawyers throughout Georgia in fourteen practice areas.
Attorneys are not allowed to vote for themselves, and may only vote for members of their own firm if they cast an equal or greater number of votes outside their firms. The listings are determined solely by lawyers’ votes. There are nearly 30,000 practicing attorneys in Georgia available for nomination. The listing appeared in the December issue of Georgia Trend.
