Alyssa Potts practices exclusively in the area of domestic relations where she has historically focused her practice on cases involving domestic violence and contentious custody issues. Her clients benefit greatly from Alyssa’s persistence, her attention to detail, and her ability to take practical approaches to resolving even the most contentious cases. Alyssa honed these skills while interning with the DeKalb Volunteer Lawyer Foundation and the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation, which is where she discovered her passion for family law while helping clients with Temporary Protective Orders and other family law matters.
She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2016 with a BBA in Business Management and attended law school at Georgia State University, where she graduated with the highest distinction for her pro bono efforts. In law school, Alyssa participated in the Health Law Partnership between Georgia State and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Alyssa is a Kennesaw native currently living in Midtown Atlanta. She loves to travel and enjoys spending her free time exploring the Beltline and Atlanta’s various rooftop restaurants.
